The office building, opened in 2001, has become one of the most remarkable places in the city. Its construction was a necessity in connection with the unification of Germany and, accordingly, the transfer of the capital to Berlin. The department building was designed by Charlotte Frank and Axel Schultes. According to the project, the 36-meter building has a transparent facade. On the seventh floor of the central block of the building – central government conference room, at the eighth – the cabinet of the federal, and at the last – his personal apartment.
