Aldeman Ortiz de Zuniga – once a slave trader and mayor of the city of Trinidad. His mansion is now one of the city's main attractions. Built in the early 19th century, the building is one of the finest examples of colonial architecture.

A well-kept two-story building with arches and a wide balcony stands out against the somewhat shabby neighborhoods of Trinidad.

At the moment, there is not a museum here, but a functioning art gallery, and a school-workshop of Cuban painting opened with it. In the exhibition hall, anyone can see the paintings of contemporary Cuban artists, as well as those who study in this studio. The studio holds open plein airs from time to time,
