It also displays old documents, maps, paintings belonging to local rulers, paintings by contemporary abstract artists. The pride of the museum is the collection of works by Orientalist artists. In addition to exhibition activities, the museum carries out scientific work. It houses the Society of Fine Arts and a center that studies artistic culture. The Museum of Fine Arts has a huge library, which contains over four thousand books, video and audio materials in English, Arabic and other languages.
