The Nature House or Natural History Museum is located on the edge of the historic center of Salzburg, on Museum Square. It was founded by zoologist Eduard Paul Tratz in 1924. The exhibits of the museum are located in the former monastery of the Ursulines and occupy 80 rooms.
The museum presents a variety of exhibitions of inanimate and wildlife. Here you can see:

A large number of rooms are dedicated to minerals and geology, birds and mammals, the fauna of Africa, America, Austria, Asia and even the Ice Age.

A large number of stuffed animals are located throughout the museum. The museum's collections are constantly updated with new interesting expositions.
While visiting the museum, in between viewing different rooms, you can relax in the cafe-restaurant located on the terrace.
