The loggia was built in the years 1486-1493. The author of the project is the architect Fra Giocondo. The Loggia is crowned with antique sculptures made in the form of the noble citizens of Verona. The Loggia del Consiglio, along with other sights of Verona, was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
