World Village Exhibition and Entertainment Complex in the UAE, Dubai Resort

" World Village"puts a special emphasis on the presentation of musical, gastronomic, theatrical, artistic and other aspects of the culture of different countries. Each thematic pavilion represents a different region or country. The World Village has a huge concert venue where competitions and performances are held. This site resembles a Roman amphitheater and can accommodate about 3,000 people. The most popular events are fashion shows, puppet shows, Experimental theater festival and New Years celebration. The complex is also famous for the fact that every evening there is a unique show Aqua Fantasia (the only show of this kind in the world). The show features dancing fountains, light and laser special effects, and fireworks. The show lasts about half an hour and repeats itself several times in one evening. There are restaurants and cafes on the territory of the complex that offer both national Arab cuisine and dishes from various countries.
