Rating: 8,6/10 (300 votes)  The Basilica of Santo Stefano is one of the main decorations of the city of Capri. The church is located on Piazzetta Square. Nowadays, the temple amazes with its unusual architecture, combining Eastern and European styles. The influence of Greek and Moroccan cultures is immediately felt. The church was erected on the site of an ancient cathedral in 1685. During the construction, the material left over from the ancient building was used. Today, the sacristy of the church houses a silver statue of St. Constanzo. The floor of the basilica is decorated with multi-colored marble.
