It is considered the oldest synagogue in Africa. The Grib synagogue is the site of pilgrimage for many Tunisian Jews who come here on the 33rd day after Easter. Around the synagogue there are premises that are intended for visitors. A large wooden door with metal rivets leads into a rectangular hall, which is lined with blue tiles.
