Meson Carre – it is the most intact ancient temple that has survived to this day. This building is located in Provence.

In front of the entrance to the temple there is a plaque, according to which the stepsons of the Emperor Augustus were consecrated.

V century, when many ancient temples were destroyed, this one was turned into a Christian church. During the Revolution, stables were located here.

Today Maison Carre is the national museum of ancient art.
