Savoca and Castelvecchio Siculo are two mountain villages. The villages are located in the Agro Valley.

Savoca village is famous for its Museum of Mummies, located in the old Capuchin monastery. It also starred scenes from The Godfather. Francis Ford Coppola. The city has three churches – San Nicolo, Chiesa Madre and San Michele.

The village of Castelvecchio Siculo is famous for its church of Saints Peter and Paul. The building was constructed from white, black and red stones. In architecture, several styles can be clearly traced at once - – Norman, Byzantine and Arabic. Also noteworthy is the Basilica of San Onofrio, built in the 17th century. In 1908, the basilica was badly damaged during an earthquake, but was soon fully restored.

To the right of the main road is a picturesque fountain, painted with scenes from the life of the city. earlier, three jets gushed from the fountain: the first was intended for drinking, the second - and ndash; for drinking animals, and the third – for laundresses.
