Rolla Square in the UAE, Sharjah Resort
Rating: 7,9/10 (645 votes)  Rolla Square was created in the 19th century and is considered a historical landmark of the emirate of Sharjah. The square got its name in honor of the first banyan tree planted here (in Arabic it is pronounced as"rolla"). In 2011, the authorities of the emirate decided to turn Rolla Square into a city park for walks in the open air. In addition to resting places and trees, it is planned to place fountains, playgrounds, several cafes here.
