It was built during the reign of Emperor Augustus. Louis XIV, visiting the city for the first time, called the wall of the theater the most beautiful wall in France. And there is a reason – not only the supporting structure with the height of a 9-storey building and more than 100 meters in length survived, but also the arches and columns that adorn the bottom of the stage.
