The bridge is three kilometers long. The structure consists of 222 arches. The bridge is crossed by a railway and a road. In the 30s of the XX century, a comprehensive reconstruction was carried out on the bridge. The Pont della Liberta, along with other sights of Venice, was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
