Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum in Spain, Madrid resort

The collection of this museum includes more than 800 canvases that represent the history of the development of Western, including Spanish, art. The museum exhibits cover a variety of art styles, from 13th century Gothic to modern pop art that is characteristic of 20th century America. All the works of the museum's art fund were collected mainly in the period from 1920 to 1980. In 2004 the museum expanded greatly, in its collection appeared paintings donated by Carmen Severa. This museum is a very good addition to the Prado Museum.
