Royal Mint in the Czech Republic, Jachymov spa

In 1671, after a decline in silver mining in the Ore Mountains, the mint was closed, and the building housed the office of the Office of Mining and Metallurgy. Later there was also a mining school – the first in the country. In 1964, it was decided to open the Royal Mint in the building, where today the visitors can see exhibitions about mining and the production of coins.
