Rating: 8,6/10 (3055 votes) This house-museum is a small two-storey building in which since 1895 the Bulgarian writer I. Vazov lived and worked. He wrote the novel"Under the Yoke", the plot of which was based on the events that took place in April 1876 - the uprising against the Turks. In our time, several rooms of the building, after the completion of restoration work, acquired the appearance of the beginning of the twentieth century ... In the office of I. Vazov, as before, you can see a stuffed animal of his beloved dog, named Bobby, made by the writer after the pet was hit by a tram. On the ground floor there is a small exhibition of documents and photographs.
