This castle is located in Alicante on Mount Benacantil. Archaeologists believe that the first fortifications were built here in the 11th century. The ruins that have survived to this day are the remains of buildings from the 16th century. Particular attention should be paid to the Hall of Philip II, the Chapel of St. Barbara, the English Bastion and the Tower of Honor.

In the castle you can see sculptures made by Italian masters. Basically, the exposition features busts of Spaniards, famous all over the world: from   Francisco Goya to Valais Inclan.
