Rating: 8,1/10 ( votes)  The Hulda Gate is the combined name of the Double and Triple Gates. Hulda is the name of the famous prophetess who lived during the reign of King Josiah. The main part of the Double Gates is hidden behind a tower built in the Middle Ages. The construction of this gate dates back to the 7th century AD. The monumental staircase leading to the Triple Gates has survived only partially. This gate was walled up in the 11th century.
