Hill”Three Crosses” in the Czech Republic, Karlovy Vary resort

These crosses were erected on the top in 1640 as a reminder of the triumphant re-Catholicization of the entire region, where Lutheranism had previously been preached. According to legend, three brothers were brutally persecuted on the hill for refusing to renounce their religious views.
