The Tower of Charles the Fourth, located on the Gamer summit, at an altitude of 514 meters, was erected in 1877. The tower is 15 meters high.

The tower was built in 1876, brick was the main building material. The tower was erected as a pseudo-Gothic observation tower located in Schleswig.

In 1877, the first visitors visited the tower. During that period, a lot of criticism fell upon the builder, since it was a lot of trouble for well-fed visitors to climb the narrow steps to the observation platforms of the tower.

Initially, the tower was named Franz Josef Rise, however, due to poor-quality repair work, the condition of the object gradually deteriorated. In 2001, the tower underwent a major overhaul. The design documentation was developed by the Prague Architecture Design Studio, under the leadership of Tomas Santavogo – chief designer of the engineer.
