Banner Tower in Vietnam, Hue Resort
Rating: 8,3/10 (6392 votes)  The Flag or Banner Tower is located right in front of the Hue Citadel. The tower is a flat multi-level pyramid topped with a 21-meter flagpole. The tower was built in 1807. The first flagpole of the tower was 29.52 meters high and was made of wood. Over the course of nearly a century, the flagpole has been replaced several times. In 1948, the last version of the flagpole, cast in concrete, was installed on the tower.
