Museum of History and Culture in Vietnam, Hoi An Resort (Hoi An)
Rating: 8,7/10 (2043 votes)  The Museum of History and Culture today is one of the oldest urban pagodas and a real scientific treasury. The museum is located in the city quarter, which in the course of history was the earliest inhabited. The building was constructed in 1635. Originally, the pagoda was built as a religious building, and was called `` Kuan Yin. '' The museum displays a large collection of artifacts, as well as information about the historical and cultural heritage of Hoi An. The museum contains photographs, statues belonging to different eras and made of various materials, maps, ceramics, porcelain, steles, etc. Also on display are bronze drums dating back to the Dong Son civilization and dating back to 3000 BC.
