The construction of the church began in 1534, and ended in 1540. In the southern part of the church, a high tower was built overlooking the square. At the end of the battle on White Mountain, the church began to function as a Catholic church. In 1785, a new marble altar with the image of St. Jachim was erected in the wing of the main altar. In 1873, a severe fire broke out in the church, which destroyed all the interior decoration of the church, including the altar. After a while, restoration work was carried out in the temple.
