Palazzo Madama is a palace complex located in Turin. The palazzo was built on the site of an ancient Roman camp. Ancient fortifications were used in the construction.

The facade of the palazzo, built in 1721, is a dry example of the North Italian Baroque. The back side of the building still retains the appearance of a dark medieval castle, with round towers located in the corners, which were added to it in the 15th century.

In different centuries, the castle served as the residence of the Savoyard branch homes for the dowager regents, and to accommodate guests of the current reigning monarch. The castle also housed the Royal Art Gallery, the Piedmont Parliament and the Supreme Court.
