In the south, this territory is bordered by the Plaza de Catalunya, in the north – Passeig de Sant Juan and Avinguda de la Diagonal, and in the southwest, Carrer Muntaner. The main street of the Golden Square is the Passeig de Gracia. The Golden Square contains many beautifully preserved buildings that were built in the late 19th – early 20th century. They were designed by different architects and therefore different sides of Art Nouveau can be seen in the Golden Square. Interesting details come across almost at every step: statues, mosaics, bas-reliefs, wrought iron decorations, stained glass windows, ceramic decorations and much more.
