Stageira is an ancient city and homeland of the great ancient Greek scientist and philosopher Aristotle. The park has a stunning view of the picturesque Ierissos Bay as well as the Athos peninsula. In clear weather, you can see some of the monasteries of Mount Athos from here using the telescopes in the park.

The park contains a number of inventions and tools created by Aristotle, which, if handled correctly, will show natural phenomena.

There are such famous inventions as horizontal sundials, lenses, compass, pentaphone, optical discs, water turbines, pendulum, parabolic reflectors, inertia of spheres, etc.

Today the park is a favorite place for tourists. At the top of the hill, you can also observe the magnificent statue of the philosopher, made of white marble.
