Today, the museum's exposition presents an extensive collection of plants, animals and minerals to the attention of visitors. There are about 400 stuffed mammals, more than 1000 insects and 1200 species of birds, as well as samples of rare crystals and minerals collected in the mines of the Rhodope. On the ground floor you can observe samples of rocks, minerals and crystals, and on the second and third floors there are showcases with stuffed animals and birds, including monkeys, tigers, lions, and a brown bear. Samples of dried insects and fish round out the collection.
