Ramban synagogue in Israel, Jerusalem resort
Rating: 7,6/10 (1049 votes)  The Ramban Synagogue is the oldest synagogue in Jerusalem. According to popular belief, it was founded by the famous Rabbi Moshe Ben Nachman (Ramban), who lived from 1194 to 1270. Reconstruction work in this synagogue was carried out only in 1967. In the eastern part of the synagogue, there are two depositories for the sacred scrolls. Currently, the Ramban synagogue is operational and is visited by locals.
