The ethnographic museum displays objects of everyday life of the inhabitants of Cyprus, which cover a large segment of history, from the Neolithic era to the present day.
Exhibits, presented in the museum were collected by Georg Eliades and his wife. In this collection you can see pottery, ax blades, coins, various tools.
The building that houses the museum was built in the 19th century. The interior design of the museum looks like a traditional household interior: a bedroom, a kitchen, and so on. In one of the halls there is a reconstruction of the bridal chamber, where old costumes and furniture are exhibited.
