It is believed that the church was built at the beginning of the Paleogoth era, in the 13th century. In 1548 the Turks turned it into a mosque. During the renovation, the gallery that surrounded the church was destroyed. Unfortunately, it has not yet been restored. The church is cruciform, with one nave. It was possible to enter it only from the north or from the south, the church has no traditional doors on the west side. The main dome rests on arches in the shape of a cross. There is a smaller dome above the nave. A small number of frescoes. In the nave there is an image of the Virgin in a very good condition, and the deacon's room is decorated with an image of three saints.
