New fortress in Greece, Corfu resort
Rating: 7,8/10 (1003 votes)  Its second name is – coastal fortress. It was built to defend against the Turks in the late 16th century. It is slightly smaller in size than Paleo Frurio. In the preserved parts of the fortress, there is a training base for the Greek Navy. There is a market along the moat surrounding the fortress.
