Initially, the castle was built in the Romanesque style, but soon after repeated reconstruction works, the castle acquired either the Gothic or Renaissance style. The current structure consists of a palace made in the Gothic and Romanesque styles , complemented by a Renaissance wing and an arched corridor. Today, the castle houses a museum, which presents to the attention of visitors several exhibitions – 'Evolution of 19th century interiors and furniture', 'Ethnographic exposition of folk art of the Herb region'.
