The Karlovy Vary colonnades are picturesque structures specially open for quiet walks, which usually alternate with drinking mineral water from thermal springs.

Carlsbad Mill, made in the neo-Renaissance style, is the most beautiful and largest of the buildings. Today this colonnade is the traditional symbol of the city. The mill colonnade is also called Zytkovaya, as it was designed by the architect Josef Zytek, in parallel with the 'symbol of the Czech Renaissance' located in Prague. Today you can see a bust of Josef Zytek not far from the Mlynski spring.

It was originally planned to build a colonnade of three floors, but due to lack of funds, the building was erected on only one floor with a small superstructure. The colonnade has three naves with columns, also made in the neo-renaissance style.

A small cafe is located on the second floor. Here you can drink mineral water from such springs as Libusin, Rusalochiy, Skalny, Knya Wenceslas and Mlynskiy.

The Mlynskiy spring is located in a semicircular hall, where on the wall there is a marble plaque with the text of the solemn poem ' Ode to the Geyser, written in Latin. The translation of the ode in Czech can be observed on a metal board located above the source.

Above the portico of the colonnade, 12 allegorical statues were installed, symbolizing the months of the year. In the very depths of the colonnade there is a 'shell' for the orchestra, which is decorated with stone reliefs based on the Karlovy Vary history.

The Palace Colonnade, made in a mixture of modern and classical architectural styles, was built in 1913 ... F. Ohman became the architect of the project. The relief `` Spirit of the Springs '', located under the arches of the colonnade, deserves attention. According to legend, if you touch the stone Guardian with your nose, your deepest desire will surely come true. The relief itself was made of stone, and the head of the Guardian was carved from aragonite.

Market Colonnade is a modern replica of the first wooden building erected on this site in 1883.

In the central part there is a Hot Spring Colonnade, where in a glazed pavilion you can watch the fountain of the famous Karlovy Vary spring, which springs up to 12 meters in height. This geyser has always been very popular with vacationers.
