Those who love walking have the opportunity to walk alone or with a guide along the Varska hiking trails.

One of these trails, about 5 km long, is located around Lake Yrsava. The circular trail was created in 2006. It is equipped with three information boards: General Reega's House, Varska I Drill Well and Northern Camp. There are 2 recreation areas on the trail, with an equipped campfire site, and on the trail you will find 2 swimming spots.

Another hiking trail, Meenikunno, 5.8 km long, consists of two parts. The first, 2.4 km long, is a road made of planks laid out in the swamp. The second part is a 3.4 km long forest trail.
