Mount Ring is located near Kislovodsk, on the left side of the Borgustan ridge. The mountain belongs to the State Museum-Reserve. Lermontov and is a through grotto, shaped like a ring. The diameter of the ring is about eight meters.

The ridge of the Borgustan ridge is mainly formed of sandy rocks, the wind and water for centuries have formed from them bizarre in shape and various in size caves and grottoes. To do this, Araf must forget about home and family and think only about victory. The first two attempts of Araf were unsuccessful - the first time he thought about his wife, the second time about his son. And only the third time did he slip through the ring, after which the heart became hardened. Further, in a terrible battle, Araf defeated the djinn, but was wounded, and then the faithful horse carried him to the source of the sleds - the Narzan, whose waters healed the wounds and quenched Araf's thirst. Since then, it is believed that everyone who passes through the Ring Mountain and drinks water from a healing spring will become strong in spirit and body.
