Anse Cocos description and photos - Seychelles: La Digue Island. Detailed information about the attraction. Description, photographs and a map showing the nearest significant objects. The title in English is Anse Cocos. Photo & DescriptionCoco Bay is located thirty minutes walk from the Grand Anse. It is a beautiful cove with a sandy beach and a steep slope descending to the water. Like other beaches on the island, the white-turquoise Coco Bay is framed by large granite boulders. Due to its remote location, the bay is much more secluded than the rest of the popular beaches of La Digue Island. Quite strong currents and great depths make the waters of Coco Bay unsafe for swimming, in addition, there are few people here and there are no lifeguards. The ideal spot to cool off after a long walk under the blazing sun is at the far end of the beach, with a natural pool sheltered from the waves by the surrounding boulders. The path to Anse Coco lies along the beaches, parallel to the sea, up the boulders above a wooded headland, one of the trees has a pointer. At the fork you need to take the right path to get to the bay. It is better to take a local guide who will show you the way, otherwise you can get lost in the jungle.
