Labadi Beach, better known as La Plegerie Beach, is the most visited beach on the coast of Ghana. This is one of the most beautiful beaches in Accra, along with the best hotels. Visitors who are not hotel guests will be charged an admission fee. On the promenade and on the beach on holidays and weekends, there are often performances by reggae musicians, hip-hop musicians, drumming concerts and dancers.

The best place to stay in Labadi is the Premier Hotel, providing spa services and meeting opportunities. The hotel is renowned for its cuisine and unique spirit of Ghanaian hospitality and is easily accessible from both the city and the airport. Labadi Beach is located about 8 km east of Accra, regular trips tro-tro depart from different parts of the city. Tropical gardens along the coastline make Labadie Beach one of the most beautiful landmarks in Africa.
