More than three centuries ago, the lands of the Mamayeva Sloboda were in the possession of the Mikhailovsky Golden-Domed Monastery. At this place there was a monastery apiary, a farm and a pond. Now, surrounded by curly cherry orchards, surrounded by wattle fences, the Cossack Sloboda is spread out.

The architectural ensemble has about a hundred objects, with the wooden Cossack Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos in the center, makes an indelible impression. Three domes and a bell tower of the church, similar to the one that adorned the Zaporozhye Sich in the era of Bogdan-Zinovy Khmelnitsky, attracts great attention.

Not far from the Cossack church, among a small wheat field, you can see a windmill, symbolizing a peaceful agricultural Ukraine.
