Photo and descriptionThe famous church in the name of All Russian Saints is located in the small village of Sosnovo, Priozersky district of the Leningrad region. In the 15th century, the village of Sosnovo was called Rauta. In this small village inhabited by true believers, there was a small Orthodox church consecrated in the name of St. Basil the Great. The temple was equipped with attributed chapels located in the area of such modern settlements as Orekhovo, Ivanovo, as well as Vasilievsky Rovduzhsky pogost, otherwise called Razdolye. After 1577, the temple was no longer mentioned in the chronicle sources. During 1864-1865, the territorial zone of the previously existing churchyard in the village of Zamosc (Palkeala) closest to Raut, according to the project of the famous architect G.I. Karpov, a wooden church was erected, consecrated in the name of St. Andrew the First-Called. After a certain period of time, the wooden church was badly damaged and was completely destroyed during the bloody hostilities of the 1939-1940s. From 1994 to 1998, under the watchful leadership of Archpriest Alexander Prokofiev, and from 1993 and rector of the newly opened Pine parish, a wooden church was erected with a miniature baptismal chapel, consecrated in the name of Saints Basil the Great and Nicholas the Wonderworker. Also on the north side of the church was added a porch-chapel in the name of the icon of the Mother of God called "Picturesque Spring". The main part of the temple composition bears a quadrangle, equipped with several cuts that form a cross. The total height of the church building is 25 meters, and the church's wedding is decorated in the form of nine onion domes, which are installed on drums and shine brightly with a golden color. All existing roofs of the church are covered with iron, painted dark brown. Almost all the window openings of the temple are more like loopholes than windows. The outer walls of the Church of All Russian Saints have an inherent wood color. As for the altar part of the log house, a piece of the relics of St. Sergius of Radonezh is embedded in it. The inherent interior decoration of the Church of All Russian Saints is designed in the traditional Greek tradition, which was carried out during 1998-2000 with the participation of benefactors from Greece. The church iconostasis, as well as the overwhelming number of icons, were made by A.B. Prokofieva. Today, according to the project of famous architects A.G. Kurochkin. , Varakina E.P., Rombacheva V.P. and the Nadezhdin brothers, the so-called "sacred ensemble" was erected, decorated in accordance with the traditions of Russian wooden architecture of the 17-18 centuries. It includes not only the church itself, but also a tent-roofed bell tower, the height of which reaches 28 meters, with a 2-ton bell, which is the largest for buildings made of wood; the bell tower is equipped with a cone-shaped dome with a bulbous dome. The existing belfry is equipped with 12 bells, an overhead chapel, service buildings and a holy entrance gate. We also recommend reading A. I.
