The House of Prayer of Evangelical Christians-Baptists was built in the city of Kobrin in the period 1989-1993 with the help and donations of believers. According to eyewitnesses, the construction was carried out on pure enthusiasm. When they began to build the meetinghouse, they did not yet know how it would turn out, because the final project was not yet ready. As a result, several mistakes were made, which later had to be corrected.

This is one of the largest and most magnificent Baptist meeting houses in the world. There are 1,400 seats for parishioners.

In 2012, the stage was reconstructed with donations from believers, which made it possible to eliminate mistakes made during the construction.

Baptism is one of the directions of Protestant Christianity, a confession, branched off from the English Puritans. Representatives of other Christian denominations are often hostile towards Christians-Baptists, but despite the persecution, this is one of the largest and most prosperous Christian denominations in the world.

A large friendly community of Christian Baptists lives in Kobrin, who lead an educational, missionary, educational and charitable activities. Baptists attach great importance to music and singing, which is why a variety of concerts are constantly held in the meetinghouse.
