The Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manila specializes in classical and contemporary visual arts. The museum was founded in 1976 to host exhibitions of foreign artists, and since 1986 it has also been home to the works of Filipino artists. In the exhibition halls of the Metroopliten museum, over the years, one could see works by Picasso, Clay, Walter Gropius and other artists. The museum consists of 4 main galleries and several small exhibition spaces.
