Azenas do Mar is a city located on the sea coast. Azenas do Mar is located in the municipality of Sintra, which in turn is part of the Lisbon region. The name of the city is translated as "sea mill". According to some sources, the history of this ancient city dates back to the Arab occupation. Then the first water mills appeared, known as "azenash", hence the name of the city.
