White Rocks are located on the outskirts of the resort of Byala, almost 60 kilometers from Varna. This is a key attraction in an already picturesque area. Reserve " White Rocks " Is a limestone continuous massive geological profile that was discovered by Australian geologist Anton Prizinger.
Byala Municipality has taken the initiative and launched a project aimed at preserving this unique natural landmark. This area has been a natural reserve since 2001. The rocks are silent witnesses of major natural disasters, which, according to European scientists, completely destroyed the era of dinosaurs. In addition, White Rocks is, in essence, a natural geological museum, which allows you to trace the different periods of the Earth's crust.
In addition to the rocks themselves, an ancient system of fortification ramparts from the end of the 7th century has been preserved on the coast. Not far from the village, you can see the ruins of a Roman fortress.
