The Blue Lagoon is the most popular destination in Iceland. Every year, more than 300,000 tourists from all over the world come here to plunge into the healing waters of this natural pool in the middle of lava fields, admire the fantastic lunar landscapes and the vague outlines of the alien structures of the geothermal station in the distance. And in winter, among the snows, it is pleasant to bask in the hot water of thermal springs, admiring the northern lights in the open air.

This wonder of the world is located about 40 km from Reykjavik on the Reykjanes Peninsula. The history of the famous resort began in 1976 with the construction of the Svartsengi geothermal station on these lands.
