The village of Bugrovo is located in the middle of the path between the Mikhailovsky and Svyatogorsky monasteries. At the time of Pushkin, it was a small village of three houses. The Pushkin Village Museum is the only open-air museum of wooden architecture in the Pskov Region. The museum complex tells about the existence of a prosperous peasant family of Pushkin's times. The museum is a village courtyard. The entrance to the courtyard is from the road. Visitors are greeted by a high gate and a wicket. In the museum, in Bugrovo, a "portrait" of the village characteristic of that time has been recreated. The hut is located on a small hillock. On the right is a covered barn, on the left is a courtyard and buildings standing in a row: a barn, a povet, a stable. Near the small pond located behind the house there is a black-heated sauna. Further - the hermitage (a room where hay and straw are stored) and the largest peasant structure - a barn with a barn. The threshing floor was used for threshing and storing grain.

The porch of the peasant hut leads to the canopy.
