The Great Moscow State Circus is located at the intersection of Vernadsky Street and Lomonosov Avenue. It is the largest stationary circus in the world.

The group of architects and engineers who developed the design of the Great Moscow Circus was headed by Efim Petrovich Vulykh and Yakov Borisovich Belopolsky. The building was opened in April 1971.
