The Great Moscow State Circus is located at the intersection of Vernadsky Street and Lomonosov Avenue. It is the largest stationary circus in the world.

The group of architects and engineers who developed the design of the Great Moscow Circus was headed by Efim Petrovich Vulykh and Yakov Borisovich Belopolsky. The building was opened in April 1971. In 1985, a major overhaul of the circus building on Tsvetnoy Boulevard began and the Bolshoi Moscow Circus, until 1989, was the only stationary circus in Moscow.

During its existence, the creative team of the Bolshoi Moscow State Circus prepared more than a hundred circus programs. The collective goes on tour all over the world. His programs were seen by viewers in more than twenty countries.
