Ostriches have been breeding in Europe for a long time. In Ukraine, this type of animal husbandry is just beginning to develop. As for the Crimea, very few are engaged in breeding these birds.

The Denisovskaya ostrich farm is located in a very beautiful region of Crimea - the village of Denisovka, which has recently become quite popular. The farm is home to ducks, geese, peacocks, horses, piglets, donkeys, African ostriches and other animals. The farm organizes inexpensive excursions all year round. During the tour, you can learn many interesting facts from the life of animals. Everyone will be introduced to the stages of bird development. But most of all, both children and adults like communication with the inhabitants of the farm.

Now more than a hundred ostriches of various ages live on it. These birds are unpretentious that's why they feel great in Ukraine. In addition, you can contact other inhabitants living in the mini zoo.

Ostriches have been inhabiting the planet for a long time, since the time of dinosaurs, but they began to breed only recently. Fashionistas decorate their hats with feathers, and over time, people appreciated the taste of these birds. The skin of ostriches is especially appreciated, it is much better than crocodile. Ostrich eggs are also prized. They weigh more than a kilogram and can be used to make up to 15 servings of omelet. The eggshell does not remain unused. Keychains and souvenirs are made from it.

There is a playground for children on the farm. Children will really like swings, passages, slides, and this is a free service. Children are happy to have fun on such sites.

Here you can also watch little ostriches in an ostrich kindergarten. They are so cute and funny, very curious. Even babies have strong legs. To get out of the egg, ostriches break the shell with their feet. In nature, these birds have no enemies. They run fast (up to 75 km per hour) and have a powerful kick (30 kg / cm 2). In running, stride width reaches 5 m, and a jump in height can be more than 2 m.
