The Deutsches Museum, located on the Isar Island, is one of the oldest and largest science and technology museums in the world. It was founded in 1903 by the engineer Oskar von Miller. The collection of the museum covers all periods of the development of technology.

18 thousand exhibits are located on seven floors of the museum. On the lower ones - heavy transport and sections on chemistry, physics, scientific instruments and aeronautics. The middle ones house collections of arts and crafts. The upper floors are provided for exhibits on astronomy and computers.

Here you can see copies of various mines, models of trains and sailing ships, a planetarium, the restored Galileo laboratory, the first car of Karl Benz, inlaid harpsichords of the 17th century, an enlarged model of a human cell and much more.
