The Psezuapse River is one of the largest rivers in the Greater Sochi. It originates near the Grachevsky Pass on the southern slopes of the Main Caucasian Range. The length of the river flowing through the mountains and valleys is about 39 km. There is a small waterfall on the river that never dries up.

The Caucasus region is very rich in legends. Local peoples retell many different stories, one of which tells about an unknown ship that crashed near the Cape of the Lazarevsky seaside. Not many managed to escape from this ship. Among the survivors was a Russian woman with a girl who was only 4 years old. But the girl's mother died, unable to withstand a strong impact on the coastal stones when she was washed ashore. A girl named Laura remained to live in the village. She was very beautiful; blond, curly, white-faced and ruddy. Years passed, Laura grew up and fell in love with a local young man called Kaimet. But the Adyghe prince also liked the girl, and he wanted to take her as his wife. Laura did not want to marry the prince, then he ordered to kill Kaimet, but the young man managed to escape. They tried to persuade the girl and steal, but she broke free and threw herself into the waterfall. Kaimet, returning to his native village, got even with the Adyghe prince, after which he went to the waterfall, where he saw a real miracle: at the waterfall, into which the girl threw herself, the mountain shed tears streaming along the rocky surface. According to another legend, Laura's mother stayed with her until the end of her days. And after the death of her daughter, she sat near the waterfall and cried constantly, after which she turned into a rock shedding bitter tears about the cruelty of the human race.

The waterfall on the Psezuapse river looks more like a trickle. Getting closer to the waterfall, you can see all its beauty. You can get to it only by off-road vehicles that are waiting for tourists right at the entrance to the village.
