The Church of St. Nicholas is a real architectural masterpiece in the neoclassical style, created in 1799-1801. designed by the Russian architect Yakov Perrin, captivating with its impressive facade with columns at three entrances, a large bell tower and a dome. At the entrance, visitors are greeted by the sculpture of Mary Purple, who managed to prevent the destruction of the church during the Crimean War.
